The hotel is about 4-5 km from the ancient city, not in a central location. It's surrounded by residential areas, like a large community. It has its own parking lot about 200 meters from the hotel. We drove here, and it wasn't very convenient to carry things! However, the hotel is newly opened, everything is very new, the rooms are spacious, fully smart, with comfortable bedding. Breakfast is available but outsourced, so you have to buy it yourself. There are many restaurants outside, but they only open around meal times since there aren't many tourists here; locals are the main customers.

The room is very spacious, even larger than a 32 sqm room at InterContinental. The bedding is soft and comfortable, but only soft pillows are available, lacking firm ones. The whole room is controlled by Tmall Genie, making it convenient and fast. Compared to Changsha Huiyou, the variety of room delivery items is limited. Bottled water is not unlimited, but you can ask the front desk for two more bottles. The tea bags are from Chayan Yuese. You can make a Youlan Latte by ordering an iced cup and milk cap from another milk tea shop. It's a hotel worth recommending.

Unexpectedly, Huanman Hotel offers pick-up service. The driver was really nice, chatting with me and introducing places to eat and visit in Datong. The next day, I had an exam, and they sent a special car to take me there. It was so heartwarming. I had an exam at 7:30, and they dropped me off at 7:05. The front desk staff were very friendly, with smiling service. They quickly checked me in and informed me about the fitness room, self-service snacks, and room WiFi. Very professional. The environment is even better. At such a low price, I felt like I was at home. Worth recommending, great value for money. The most important thing is the personalized service. Even some five-star hotels do this level of detail.

Usually, only hotels near the airport offer airport transfer services, but this hotel not only provides airport transfers but also railway station transfers. The transfer business van is also great. Additionally, the hotel can deliver various daily necessities and foot bath buckets and moxa sticks to wash away the fatigue of the day. The only downside is why it's located here. Almost every Didi driver asks, 'Isn't this hotel too remote?' It does get a bit dark along the way 😂
